Alexa den Hartog is interested in the thinking of architecture, ranging from individual, specific design solutions to the broader discussions around space and it’s making. She studied at the EPF in Lausanne, the Royal Institute of Arts in Copenhagen and finished 2012 with a Masters degree of Science in Architecture at the ETH in Zürich where she received a price of the swiss architects association. Next to working experiences in the architectural field in Denmark, Japan, and Switzerland, she has been involved in spatial practices from scenography to curating a cultural event-space. She was director of a design studio at the EPFL from from 2014-2016. Currently she is working at a range of building projects on the edge of private and public ground in and around Zurich with her own architectural firm and is engaged as a founding member in the collaborative, cultural initiative of TEN."

Emma Letizia Jones is an Australian-born architect, historian and writer who obtained her Phd in 2016 from the University of Zurich with the thesis “Schinkel in Perspective: Architecture as Representation and Experience”, a new account of how drawing shapes architecture and territory as told through the drawings of the Prussian architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781 – 1841). Emma was also educated at the University of Sydney and the Architectural Association London, and has worked in architectural practice in both Sydney and London. She is currently a design studio director of First Year Architecture at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Her writings on architecture and drawing have appeared in AA Files, San Rocco and the Architectural Review, and she has participated in art and architecture exhibitions in Zagreb, London and Sydney. She is a founding member of TEN.

Scott Lloyd is an architect based in Zurich. He has worked in Switzerland, China, Australia and South Africa on architecture, publishing and curatorial projects. He edited Infrastructure as Architecture, a publication investigated infrastructure in terms of social, ecological, economic, political, space/ networks constructions, and EPI: the journal of the Beijing Architecture Biennial. He curated Spaces of Flow at the National Museum of China, an independent study commissioned by the minister of Culture, PRC, to investigate and communicate migrant populations in the construction industry in China. In 2001 he founded Deliver, for projects dealing with the politics and aesthetics of space. He holds a design degree from the University of Tasmania and a Masters Degree in architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology where, since 2012, he has been engaged in research on the global city with the Urban Think Tank. Recent projects with the group include the conception and lead for workshops for design and building, mapping and scenario planning. He is coordinator-architect for the research and implementation of housing prototypes and upgrade methodologies in Cape Town. He is a board member of TEN, where he coordinates the Thame Valley Redevelopment project with ETH research guidance.
His work has been published widely and shown at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2010, 2012. He has been invited to speak on architecture and urbanism to various platforms including: African Centre for Cites, Union of International Architects, International forum on Urbanism, Urban Planning in Africa Forum , German Architecture Museum, National conference of the Royal Australian institute of Architects.

Guillaume Othenin-Girard is a founding member of TEN. He currently leads Le Salon, a research-by-design project for a one-room building for artgeneva to foster theoretical discourses and to host multiple artistic programs. He was a core member of the Nautilus Construct – a self-built initiative for an urban stage in Skopje, Macedonia, completed in summer 2015, finalist for the European Prize for Urban Public Space and the S.ARCH Award 2016. He is a co-founder of Architecture Unit, a teaching program that calls for a renewed inquiry into the city, which resulted in an international drawing workshops conducted in Motovun, Croatia and ensuing publication Re:Public. From 2012 to 2014, he was a studio director in the first year B.Arch program of the School of Architecture at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and a member of the design research team in the Atelier de la Conception de l’Espace (ALICE), where he completed in collaboration with EPFL+ECAL LAB, the installation Porte des savoirs. Together with the Irish artist Nigel Peake, he is co-author of Go Field and Towers (Amarillo Press), a publication that defines an approach to architecture centred around the body’s experience of space and articulated through a direct manual relationship with drawing and building. Since 2013 Guillaume has been actively engaged in merging the architectural discipline with artistic collaborations, such as the on-going research, conducted with Scott Lloyd, Aumbry Project: Actions at a Distant. In 2016, he won, together with the Swiss painter Jean-Luc Manz, the Kunst am Bau competition for St. Gallen Cantonal Hospital in Switzerland. He currently teaches with Tom Emerson at the chair of Architecture and Construction at ETH Zurich. He has lectured, given workshops and been a visiting critic at various schools around Europe. His architectural studies at the ETH Zurich, the Cooper Union in New York.

Nemanja Zimonjić is an architect based in Zurich, Switzerland. He was educated at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich) where he graduated with honors in 2013 with free diploma “Hidden Zurich”, and Faculty of Architecture University of Belgrade where he graduated in 2009 on Master studies in Architecture. Since 2007 he worked in Serbia, Germany, UK and Switzerland within the field of architecture and publishing. He has been awarded Grand Prix of Serbian Salon for Architecture in 2011 with Prof. Branislav Mitrović for Hotel Center. Since 2013 he teaches and researches at the Chair of Prof. Tom Emerson for Design and Construction at ETH Zurich, within which he has been responsible for seeing through exhibition of Glasgow Atlas in UK, long term experimental construction project titled The Garden, several built pavilions and design teaching work with the second year unit. In 2014 he engaged in independent research in Croatia and Spain, as initial places for a long term project based around Mediterranean dealing with architectural drawing and space. He is one of the co-founders of TEN, where he has lead, amoung other projects, Nautilus Konstrukt, a self-built initiative for a temporary urban stage in Skopje, Macedonia. Within the association, he established the Architecture Unit, an independent teaching programme for students and lecturers in architecture, with two international workshops and publications in Zagreb and Motovun, Croatia.

JOSIP JERKOVIĆ was born in Ljubljana, he studied architecture, urban planning and photography in Zagreb. He Received the Rector's award of the University of Zagreb in 2005 for the project: The Ark of Architecture. He has worked for Mikelić Vreš Architects, the Urban Planning Institute of Croatia, freelanced and collaborated with architects' collectives WGZG and Trokut in the fields of architecture and urban planning.
In 2012 he completed the Master of Advanced Studies in Housing at the ETH Zurich Centre for Research on Architecture, Society and the Built Environment with the thesis reThinking Zagreb: Influence of Urban Policies on the Quality of Zagreb's Neighbourhoods. He is currently based in Zurich, were he works for Metron as a member of the urban design team. Adjunctly, he develops work in the fields of housing and urban design across mediums including drawing, exhibiting and publishing.

Ognjen Krašna is an architect from Pančevo, Serbia. He studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture University of Belgrade where he graduated with a Master’s degree in 2008. In 2007 he joined Mitarh architecture studio led by Professor Branislav Mitrović, where he worked for 7 years on conceptual, planning and building stages of various architecture projects, including houses, housing, hotels, office buildings, museums and public spaces. During this period of time he coauthored 3 built architectural designs: Hotel Centar in Novi Sad, Serbia; Family house L, Belgrade. Serbia; and Hydroelectric plants on Drina river office building in Višegrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has been awarded Grand Prix on 33rd Serbian Salon of architecture for the Hotel Centar in 2011, Award with in category “Guest of the Salon – Achievements abroad” on 36th Serbian Salon of architecture and CEMEX Building Award 3rd place with in category Institutional – Industrial for the Hydroelectric plants on Drina river office building. Since 2013 he practices architecture individually and collaborates with various architects both in Serbia and abroad. Lately he closely worked with Igma design studio based in Serbia; 1+1 Freeport and Morph Asia based in Beijing; and TEN, Swiss based association.
(His focus is architecture design – from concept design to detail design development, and he is interested in experimenting with materials and different methods of construction. He has totally worked on 40 architectural designs, 3 structural designs and 35 competition proposals, of which 15 were awarded. )

Luka Piškorec studied architecture at the University of Zagreb in Croatia and worked in architectural offices in Croatia and Switzerland. He continued his studies at the ETH in Zürich and received his Master of Science in Architecture (MSc ETH Arch) in 2011. During his studies, he concentrated on digital fabrication techniques as well as algorithmic programming procedures applied to architecture. He organized and led multiple international workshops on the related topics. Since 2011, he is working as a research assistant at Gramazio Kohler Research at ETH Zürich. From 2011 to 2014, he was leading the Chair’s elective course and elective thesis workshops dealing with the development of robotic digital fabrication techniques and their implementation in architectural design. From January 2015 he is involved in teaching at the newly formed Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Digital Fabrication, which is initiated by NCCR DFAB and conducted at ETH Zürich. In 2015 he co-founded the Zürich based TEN Association, a group dedicated to initiation and promotion of cultural ventures.

Varun heads the Studio for Interdisciplinary Design (SIDE) in Dehli. His professional interest lies in working on redefining the role of an architect as the facilitator for social and cultural regeneration. He is an associate member of TEN, where he leads the Thame Valley Re-development Project in Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal. After graduating from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi in 2010 he went on to work on several urban place-making projects with Mr. Nishant Lall. Key projects included Ganga Riverfront Development, Patna; National Tax Headquarter, New Delhi and Re-forming Public Space in Delhi (Commonwealth Games 2010). He worked as a site supervisor for the post flood rebuilding efforts in Ladakh. The project, a collaborative work of SEED India and LEDeG, won the CNN Indian of the Year Award in Public Service 2010. He has been actively involved in various architectural and social workshops. Em-power Shack Capetown Project with the Urban Think Tank at ETH Zurich and Fab Lab with Terreform ONE , New York amoung others. His work has been exhibited by the Institute of Lightweight Structures, Stuttgart; Europan, Austria; RIBA, Dubai Chapter and National Association of Students of Architecture, India. In 2014, he graduated (M.Sc. in Architecture) from Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands. With key projects located in Amsterdam, Hamburg and Chicago, under Prof. Roberto Cavallo, his academic research primarily focused on developing a typological framework that guides the project and beyond. He has published papers on the study of type in architecture and in 2016, his work in collaboration with Agata Majcherska on the Oed-Sud Housing Re-development in Linz, Austria has been published in the first Ebook publication of Europan: European Urbanity - The Adaptable City.

Miloš Paunović is an architect currently based in Belgrade. He graduated with honours at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade in 2010. His diploma project "City Block 73" was awarded with Milorad Macura Award by The Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia (IAUS) as the best postgraduate diploma project defended in 2009/2010 school year at the FoA, UoB, and with Press Company “Novosti” Architectural Award for the best student project in Serbia in 2010. He has been practicing architecture since 2008, and so far, has been part of small and large architectural offices as well as groups of independent young professionals. During the final year of studies (2008), he joined studio MitArh led by Prof. Branislav Mitrović, where he collaborated on number of commissioned projects and urban and architectural competitions. Short after graduation, he won the first prize on the public competition for 5 Belgrade’s kindergartens (2010), and together with a group of independent collaborators executed and realised this commission. He is an author of several awarded international and local competition designs. In 2013, following a period of collaboration as an external associate, he joined Energoprojekt Urbanizam i Arhitektura, large international corporate office, where he worked on numerous mid and large scale international projects and very soon became project architect and team leader. Since October 2015, he has been working with groups and offices based in Belgrade, Zurich and Beijing. In collaboration with Morph, 1+1 and BCAC (Beijing), he worked on several architectural designs and two realized exhibition designs. In collaboration with TEN, U-TT and ETH (Zurich) he is involved in an ongoing Thame Valley Redevelopment project (Nepal).
